Still Walking Down the Path

Spring break for me which means I don’t have to go to work for a week. Time to practice my retirement skills. Unfortunately I am not feeling my best so I have to tone my ambitions down. Still I managed to make it to the gym this morning, pick up the house, and finally unpack from my trip to San Francisco last week.

I’m working on the hobby side of retirement and taking the digital photography class is going to be fun. I took out my camera and the handbook to see if I can at lease get a few things figured out. Trying to learn how to use the manual setting. I used the “Understanding Exposure” book by Bryan Peterson to figure out my next steps and took a couple of pictures. Wahoo! Working on Shutter speed and the FStop. Just a small step, but it’s me have starting somewhere. Each chapter in the book has an assignment, so I will just keep reading and doing.

So overall the journey on the path today has been pretty low key and relaxing. Isn’t retirement about Finally having choices about what to do and when to do it. I am loving it!
